How To Watch LIV Tucson

I know we did the first look and the 6 w’s and after the first event we all probably already know this…

But we still get new people everyday and we want as many people to be the most informed as possible.

So tell your boss you will be busy tomorrow afternoon, cancel your meetings and get ready to watch some loud a** golf!

Where:

  • USA: CW or the CW App

  • Another Country: LIV golf plus app

What time:

  • Coverage begins at 1:00 pm Eastern time. Balls leave the tee at 1:15.

It’s all free:

  • Just turn it on! You don’t have to pay for cable or buy any apps or anything. Find the CW or livgolfplus and start your weekend early.

What about March Madness?:

  • Not gonna lie, this is important too. Personally I will have a phone and a TV going. If that’s not an option I guess you will find out where you true loyalty lies.

You Can Play With Golf With LIV Players

LIV Offers a Pro Am on Thursday

When I was a kid I had a chance to play Torrey Pines the day after the PGA Tour left. They leave the course just like it was for the pros and give the public a chance to try their hand.

It is pretty unique to golf that us, everyday people, can go out and play the same game, the same equipment, as the professionals.

Well LIV is giving you a chance to play with the actual professionals.

We offer limited golfing Pro-Am spots giving amateurs a once in a lifetime experience to tee it up with a Pro. The day includes meals and a premium gifting experience. A group of 3 amateurs will play with 1 Pro on the front nine, and a different Pro on the back nine.

Hospitality tickets will be included for the weekend. 1 day in Club 54 and 2 days in Gallery Club.

Age requirement: 16 and older.

LIV Golf

That’s got to be a lot

Yeah, you’re not kidding. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity it will run you $7,500 for an individual or $18,000 for a group of 3.

At that price point is definitely a once in a lifetime experience for most people.

You do get a lot of value. Spending 18 holes playing with a couple of pros is a dream. And then you get to watch the rest of the weekend in the hospitality tents as well.

How would you do playing with a pro?

Nervous? Excited? Calm, cool, and collected?

For me, I think part of it would depend on who I played with. You’ve got to think too, how excited are these guys to be doing this the day before they have to golf for real?

Some probably enjoy the interaction and an easy warmup. Others I could see not. I guess theres not really a way to know unless you go and do it though!

Would you ever pay $7,500 to play a LIV course with a pro? Who would you hope to get paired up with?

A lot of sports earn followings from loyalty to geographic locations, colleges, etc… This is your chance to learn about the LIV golfers and find who you connect with.

Sam was super good at golf when he was a kid. He actually beat Majesticks captain Ian Poulter when he was 14 (Poulter was an adult). He was a Florida Gator and dominated in college before bringing that skill to the European tour and eventually LIV.

LIV Stays Loud - Adding Fisher Concert to Adelaide

Liv is working on the environment at it’s events and has now added a mainstream concert to it’s Australian tour.

Do you know who Fisher is?

Me either, honestly. I’m assuming if I was Australian or liked DJ’s I would though.

Either way it doesn’t really matter. LIV is leaning into it’s “Golf, But Louder” slogan and adding some great additional entertainment value to their events.

Greg Norman, LIV Golf Commissioner and CEO, said:

“LIV Golf Adelaide will be a milestone tournament for our league and a can’t-miss event in South Australia. We’re eager to deliver our world-class field to a fanbase that deserves the best tournament experience the sport has to offer, and that includes incredible music acts who perform on some of the globe’s biggest stages.

“We are thrilled to have FISHER headline the concert entertainment for LIV Golf Adelaide and can’t wait to showcase our league to Australians this April, when The Grange will be buzzing with energy all weekend long.”

Music on the course

While the Fisher concert is separate of golf, a lot of people have had a problem with the music on the course.

In the broadcast it comes through and seems a little weird with music, talking, and, of course golf, all happening at once.

I will admit, in the broadcast they need to figure it out. Similar to other sports there is probably a time to let the background noise come through and a time to dampen it.

As far as on the course, it seems like 100% the right change to make from normal golf. Give the fans some noise while they watch. Let the players loosen up and rock out on the course. That kind of thing is what they singed up for, and a lot of the players seem to enjoy (or at least not mind) it so far.

I want to hear some more “Thunderstruck” while players are smashing drivers and fans are smashing beers in the background.

Peter Uihlein says the golf ball rollback proposal could impact endorsements. Given LIV’s values, I don’t think they would ever go for golf balls that go less far anyway. LIV could be the Texas of golf, everything is bigger.

Rory McIlroy is ready to get back to golf after being the face of the PGA Tour response to LIV golf.

Pat Perez must be working on a sponsorship with Peleton… He said he lost 20 lbs just riding the bike while his kids play. I don’t know what is more impressive, him losing 20 lbs, or his kids letting him ride that bike uninterrupted for an hour
