LIV Orlando 2nd round results and 3rd round look ahead

Everything you need heading into the final day of LIV Orlando

Welcome to LIVbreathegolf the newsletter that once hit three hole-in-one’s in a single round… of a putt-putt game

What we’re teeing up for you today:

  • What happened? - Orlando 2nd round results

  • Is it 1:00 o’clock yet? - Look ahead to round 3

LIV Orlando 2nd Round Results

Leaderboards

Individual Leaderboard after Round 2

Team Leaderboard after Round 2 (1st - 6th)

Team Leaderboard after Round 2 (7th- 12th)

Brooks Koepka has been on fire over the first two days with a -6 in each round. And his dominating performance is pushing Smash GC into the lead in the team race as well. (Now Brooks just has to get his brother Chase playing a little bit better…)

Koepka is only three strokes in the lead, so anything can still happen today, but right now he is poised to become the first player to win 2 LIV events.

If he does win today that will make 2 LIV wins in his last 9 events. Not a bad way to head into the Masters weekend.

Round 3 pairings - LIV Orlando

Round 3 kicks off

this afternoon at 1:05 pm with the final shotgun start of the tournament.

Right now there are a lot of chances for movement in both the team and individual standings.

Today is looking like it could possibly come down to the wire again (unless Koepka just continues to destroy everyone I guess). Two weeks ago in Tucson we saw. a 4-way playoff to determine 1st place.

Does Koepka have it mentally?

If you watched the documentary, “Full Swing” on Netflix, then you know that Koepka has struggled somewhat recently with his mental game and how to get himself back to playing as well as he can.

Well he already got it back somewhat with a win in Jeddah last year, this weekend feels even bigger.

Koepka can become the 1st LIV player to win twice

Nobody has done it yet. And that is quite an honor, especially in an up and coming league. If there is one way to show you are the best it is to be the only guy with multiple wins.

And we know Koepka wants to be the best.

Something to prove ahead of the Masters

Everyone is waiting to see how the LIV guys stack up with their PGA Tour colleagues on Masters weekend.

There is a lot of buzz about how focused Koepka looks and what a win here means heading into the Masters.

A win could be a spring board. Launching him into contention next weekend with a boost of confidence.

A loss could mean mental ruin. Imagine playing so well for 2 days, going into the final round with a 3 stroke lead. Then, the last thing you do before taking one of golf’s biggest stages, is throw away that lead and crumble mentally.

Whatever happens, we are here for it!
